Before answering this question, I should first explain what type of person I am. I am proud of my achievements, however when playing the Resident Evil 6 Series and I get stuck, I’m that type of person that would like to figure out things on my own. However, with the Resident Evil series, no matter how smart you are, there will be always a period of time in the game where you get stuck. Now I’m not that kind of person that buys a walkthrough guides and follows it every page and finish the game. No. I’m that kind of person that only uses a guide that when I get stuck and I have tried every possible options twice.

Especially on the Resident Evil series, I’d like to play with a walkthrough guide. Why? Because I can show the clues when playing with my friends on the internet. They often ask me for help when they are stuck, and having bought the Resident Evil 5 guide, have paid off. Actually, my friends don’t know that I have the Resident Evil Walkthrough Guide, they really think I’m a genius. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

So Does it help? Yes it does, however like I said before, I do not recommend to follow every page on the guide. I recommend you to use the guide when you’re stuck. Don’t use the guide too often – Like I mentioned before, when you’re not stuck, there is no reason you should use the walkthrough guide. It removes the fun from the game.

Resident Evil 6 is a challenging co-op third-person action game, being on top of the game is a must. In this section I would like to give you some tips and hints so that you will survive this awesome survival game.

You’ll have to fight super deadly mutated monsters, of course zombies and other weird creatures. You have to stay focused and work together to survive and unravel the plot in the Co-Op.

Health

There are various ways to improve your health, your health is clearly shown and will be clearly marked with colors Green, orange and red(low health). I’ll give you guys some tips that really have helped me through the game regarding your health;

First Aid Spray– give you full heal, always have this in your inventory!
Green Herb – give partial heal
Red Herb – can’t heal you unless you mix this herb with a green one.
White Egg – Gives you a small health boost
Brown Egg – Gives you more health than a white egg
Golden Egg – Gives full health, but can also be sold for a lot of cash!

Next up is setting up your inventory and how to get items.

Tip number one is searching every area thoroughly, there are load of items to find in every area. Look in chests, boxes, stone vases and other containers that could be holding ammunition, herbs, gold or any other usable item. Please don’t use your gun to open vases or crates that’s just a waste of ammunition that you might need when you progress in the game, use your machete or knife instead! Try to save as much money you can by either selling items you found, for instance treasures. They are useless and only good to give you extra money that you can invest in extra ammunition, bigger guns, and explosives. This is a common mistake that a lot of people make by not upgrading their weapons. You definitely need this when you come across big creatures that just don’t want to die.

Last but not least I would like to tell you how to use your inventory wisely, this because you only have 9 slots and those aren’t enough for all the items you’ll be finding. So what you have to do is combine all the items you find, for example if you have the same item you can easily combine these into 1 slot, make sure you consolidate them in one person’s inventory rather than splitting them between you.

Never walk with a full inventory, so always leave a slot open. This because the further you get into the story the better your drops will get. So when finding something good and you can’t pick it up you have to make choices to drop something or leave the found item behind.

Organizing your inventory, swapping things and buying new items can be done between each level. During gameplay you can still access your inventory but it it doesn’t pause the game, watch out when doing so.
